Ballymun Plaza – Main Street
The project aim is to create a landmark space that will be at the heart of Ballymun. In line with the Ballymun Local Area Plan, to create an identifiable central core
within Main Street to act as a focal point for Ballymun. This should include the improvement and visual upgrading of the plaza space in front of Axis to define the
space and improve its use as an outdoor space for events.

DCC North City Operations Depot
The vision of this project is to create a high quality, more integrated operational environment for servicing the operational needs for Dublin City. In delivering this project, the Council sought to commission a building complex which is of a high design quality, and makes a positive contribution to its context.
It will also provide a new Civic Amenity Site recycling facilities within Ballymun.
Loving 30 – DCC introducing lower speed limits in Dublin
DCC is in the process of introducing of 30km/h speed limit in all roads of the city except roads specifically listed in the bye-laws will make the city safer for more people to walk and cycle and will also assist in making the city a safer place for everyone.
A 10km/h difference in speed could be the difference between life and death for a vulnerable road user like a pedestrian.
